In 2009, For Them was the dream of a compassionate 14 year old boy from Australia, Troye Sivan.
Troye is talented singer and actor who you may have seen in the movie X-MEN Origins Wolverine that hit theaters in May 2009, he played the young Hue Jackman’s character Wolverine. He also recently starred in Spud with John Cleese which is due to hit theaters this winter.
The purpose of creating this project is to raise awareness that there are over 100 million homeless children living on the streets around the world.
You can make a difference right now to help these kids who can't help themselves anymore, then share this video with your friends and family.
Every time someone makes a donation to Kids Helping Kids for Troye’s project FOR THEM, they get the MP3 version of For Them emailed to them for free.

One of the most compelling reasons why KHK wanted to partner with Troye is because helping homeless children is something he knew he wanted to raise money for.
British songwriter Anthony Johnson wrote the song FOR THEM and after hearing Troye sing on YouTube contacted him to see if he wanted to record it. Troye was so moved by the song and it’s message that he raised his own money so that he could have the song produced and made into a video. He did not want to sell the song to make money, he wanted to use it to bring awareness about homeless children around the world.
We launched Troye’s For Them project in June 2009 and since then he has been able to raise and donate $1,500 to homeless kids in different corners of the world. Part of the funds he hand delivered to a homeless shelter in a remote village in South Africa.
Later that year other funds were used to build a wall and gate around a homeless shelter in Bali and part of that money was used to feed 300 homeless scavenger kids in Smoky Mountain, Manila. Smoky Mountain is one of the largest dump sites in Manila, Philippines.
