"Christmas In Ghana" is a program that a 10 year-old girl came up with when she heard about Tyler's efforts for the rescued children in Ghana, Africa.

Christmas in Ghana came from the heart of 10 year-old Brianna Howell who was inspired while working with Kids Helping Kids for 3 months. After personally meeting Eric Peasah, Counter Trafficking Manager for the IOM, seeing the photos and hearing the personal stories of the children in Ghana she decided she wanted to send Christmas gifts to each rescued child. The team at Kids Helping Kids agreed which launched Project “X-mas in Ghana”.

For 3 months they collected backpacks, school supplies, coloring books, bubbles and monetary donations at schools, churches and through friends. Then a team of Kids from Kids Helping Kids assembled 500 backpacks filling each with a personalized Christmas card, school supplies, bubbles, pens, pencils & candy. In all 25 boxes were shipped to Ghana, Africa for Christmas. The result was priceless. Expecting nothing, in return Kids Helping Kids received pictures and personal love notes from the rescued Ghanaian children who were overwhelmed with the giving spirits of these young leaders.
